Movement & Calming Rooms: Love & Autism 2017

by | Sep 4, 2017

At this year's Love & Autism conference, we are offering Calming & Movement rooms for anyone who needs them! On Saturday morning (September 30th) Cindy Facteau will be giving an interactive tour of both rooms for conference participants.

Play, Dance, & Meditate: By Cindy Facteau

Join us for an interactive tour of both the Movement and Calming Rooms provided at the conference. Participants will be provided a hands-on demonstration of items available for use in both rooms, and we will discuss the importance of both authentic autistic movement as well as the need for quiet spaces to avoid sensory overload.

There will be a diffuser in each room using 100% natural essential oils, such as lavender and citrus blends. If you have any allergies or olfactory aversions, please let the host know and they will be turned off so that you may enjoy your experience in these rooms.
