My name is Kim, and I am a stay-at-home mom. I have 4 children ranging in ages from 2 to 21, two who are considered to have special needs (although I just see them as my kids, who are all
special). I worked full-time for many years as an accountant, until we chose for me to stay home when my 6 year-old daughter was born with a heart condition (which fortunately she has outgrown).
We are blessed to live in a great area near Philadelphia that has many opportunities for my children's needs to be met. Our school district is truly the reason we live where we do.
In protecting my children's privacy, I refer to them as:
Bean - my 6 yo daughter who has high-functioning autism
Bud - my 12 yo son who has a nonverbal learning disability and ADHD
E - my 2 yo daughter who is a major Mommy's girl
Sissy - my 21 yo daughter who is in college and just got her first apartment
